As of September 1, 2025, Dun & Bradstreet is introducing a new Delinquency Score for companies based in Singapore. From then on, this score will also be used in the Overall Business Risk, giving you a more complete picture of a company's risk.

Why this Score?
The business environment in Singapore is constantly changing. Dun & Bradstreet therefore continues to invest in better risk insights and advanced algorithms. The new Delinquency Score for Singapore delivers reliable predictions and helps make informed credit decisions.
What is a Delinquency Score?
The Delinquency score predicts the likelihood that a business will be seriously behind in payments within 12 months. Dun & Bradstreet considers a business to be seriously delinquent if it pays its bills more than 90 days late, seeks legal protection from creditors, or stops operating without paying off all debts in full.
Minimum data requirements for scoring
To ensure the reliability of the score, Dun & Bradstreet has clear minimum requirements that a company must meet before it is scored. To be awarded a Delinquency Score, a company must meet the following data requirements:
- Valid SIC activity code
- Companies with payment statements
- Payment statements must not be older than 12 months.
Only companies that meet these criteria are qualified for scoring.
What does this mean for your company?
Do you do business with companies in Singapore? If so, the new Delinquency Score provides insight into your partners' payment risk. Dun & Bradstreet uses extensive, up-to-date data such as payment behavior, financial reports and company characteristics. Thanks to years of experience and advanced models, this gives you a reliable and predictive assessment of risk. In a rapidly changing market like Singapore, it is important to base your decisions on this solid data. Already have Singaporean companies in credit monitoring? If so, you don't need to do anything.
