What is AltaCares?
AltaCares is a community of Altares employees united by a shared commitment to making a difference. Through volunteering, fundraising, and impactful initiatives, we use our expertise and teamwork to give back to society, support meaningful causes, and create a better future together.
Bruggenloop Rotterdam
We participated in De Bruggenloop in Rotterdam. With this 15-kilometer run, we raised money for KWF Kankerbestrijding (Dutch Cancer Society).
Diergaarde Blijdorp
Volunteering for foundation De Zonnebloem, we visited the Rotterdam Zoo Diergaarde Blijdorp and had a lovely time.

Together with the Humanitas foundation, we volunteered during Sail 2025.
Beach walks
On the beach in a wheelchair with caterpillar tracks. Science fiction? We went for a nice beach walk with foundation De Zonnebloem.

Harbour Run 2025
We as committed sponsor participated with 25 colleagues in the Harbour Run 2025 and received donations for Make a Wish.
What we do ...
AltaCares is our way of giving back authentically, with empathy and intention. At AltaCares we receive 16 hours of paid volunteering time per year to support initiatives that improve lives – especially those of the most vulnerable in our communities. We’re not looking for big gestures. We’re looking for real ones. We focus exclusively on human-focused impact. Because our impact lies in human connection. That’s our strength—and our choice.
That means:
• Helping isolated elderly people feel seen again
• Supporting underprivileged children in getting a fair start.
• Providing comfort, skills, or confidence to those going through a tough time.

Our vision on charity
Not everyone gets the support they need. That’s when charities step in and when we as a company can choose to use our strengths for more than just business.
At Altares Dun & Bradstreet we’re lucky to work with colleagues who enjoy teaming up and making things happen together. AltaCares grew from that spirit. It is simply us, using what we know and what we have to support others. Sometimes that’s time, sometimes it’s knowledge, sometimes just being present.
For us, giving back is not a side activity. It’s part of how we look at the world. It connects us as colleagues, it makes us proud of each other, and it gives meaning to our work beyond the office walls. Often, the most powerful moments are small: a smile of recognition, a thank-you card, or the laughter of doing something new as a team. These moments remind us that care is simple, and it works best when shared.
What makes AltaCares special is the feeling it brings. We learn from each other, we discover new sides of ourselves, and we build friendships while doing good. There’s no spotlight or stage. Just people, together, putting kindness into action.
