Frequently asked questions about the SME Indicator
Whenever possible, we work with actual figures. When those are not available, we work with modeled data. Our models are based on thousands of data sources worldwide. We develop predictive models for various indicators for sectors worldwide.Â
Such a change can mean that an SME becomes an enterprise and vice versa. If you apply the SME Indicator to a batch file, we recommend updating this file once every 6 months, and preferably around July or August. This is because we see many companies filing data mainly in those months. You can also link the SME Indicator to your portfolio. Then the SME Indicator will automatically be updated when new data is available.Â
If these are actual figures, i.e. filed data, they are 100% the same figures as those known to the Chamber of Commerce.
