Rotterdam, March 8, 2022 - The sanctions declared by the Office of Foreign Assets Control against Russia will initially affect some 16,500 companies worldwide, spread across 21 countries. This is what business data specialist Altares Dun & Bradstreet says after analyzing the corporate structures of the largest Russian companies and holding companies.

Rotterdam, October 5, 2021 - As many as 38 percent of Dutch companies say they do not consider it important to know whether an ultimate beneficiary of a company the organization does business with has a conviction behind his name.
Rotterdam - As many as nine percent of Dutch final decision-makers consider it unimportant whether a person they do business with is on a sanctions list. This is evident from research by business data specialist Altares Dun & Bradstreet, carried out among 350 employees who are final decision-makers within their working area.
A worldwide analysis by Altares Dun & Bradstreet, shows that the Netherlands is among the top three best payers in the world. David Verheecke, Managing Director Benelux: "As made clear, even in times of crisis, Dutch companies fare a lot better than other companies worldwide."
In an Altares Dun & Bradstreet analysis of 350 end-users, one in six end-users said they don't care if a business associate launders money as long as the payment obligation is met.
An Altares Dun & Bradstreet analysis of 93,000 companies that received support through the NOW scheme shows that, relatively speaking, the most active organizations also received the most NOW support. So it's not the "zombie companies" that are sitting back and benefiting from support.
